Welcome to my personal web site. This is a place where I can share my love of travel, photography and crafts.

Travel

Since 2001 I have been traveling around the United States in my mini motorhome. The travel page has many of the details, lessons and stories I have collected along the way. I highly recommend road trips over flying because when you fly you don't get a flavor of the places on the ground when you are 30,000 feet in the air. And, at least for now, there are plenty of places in this country where you can get away from the busy smoggy cities to actually breathe fresh air and see stars in the sky at night.

Cancer

I am a two time cancer survivor having lived through two rounds of breast cancer. I'm currently dealing with a form of Leukemia. For this reason I keep a whole page dedicated to my cancer experiences and lessons that I hope will be theraputic for me while being educational and encouraging to you. I know some people have a huge fear of the C word to the point that they can't even speak it out loud for fear it may hear its name and come visit their house. I'm here to tell you that facing it head-on, in fact looking for it with regular self exams, is the best way to beat this thing. And I'm part of a large group of survivors proving this approach works.

Life

I am a weaver, stamper and scrapbooker, I love spending time in my studio (craft room) creating one of a kind weavings, greeting cards and scrapbook pages commemorating my life, my friends and my travels. You can see a peek at some of the things I've done here on my fun stuff page.
